We are a charity which supports local initiatives aimed at environmental, educational and recreational projects within the Stoke Newington area. We are committed to working with voluntary and community groups to improve the quality of life of those who live, work or visit Stoke Newington.
We are supported by private individuals and local businesses, notably Guttridges Ltd, who run the Church Street Workshops site. Guttridges was set up in 1994 by local businesses, with help from Hackney Council, to aid in the commercial regeneration of Church Street.
There are now seven small workshops there employing fourteen people. We have also benefited from generous support from local individuals.
